QR Menu Maker- How To Get QR Code For A Menu
Covid-19 has indeed revolutionized the way restaurants are re-opening. Contactless QR menus have become a rage. Restaurants, cafés, hotels, and bars are revamping their traditional paper menus to digital QR menus. Now one might wonder how to make a QR code for your restaurant menu. It's quite easy. With PlumQR you can generate your menu QR code within 10 minutes.
Step 1: Signup at PlumQR
- To create your QR menu, you simply need to signup at PlumQR Contactless Menus.
- After entering your email id, you'll be able to enter the QR menu dashboard. Here you will be able to add your restaurant locations, names, logo, menus, menu items, prices, descriptions, add-ons, notes on orders, and much more. Step 2: Enter menu items from the dashboard
- Setting the country and currency- Go to 'Settings' on the side pane and click on 'Country & Currency'. Select your country and the corresponding currency will be set automatically.
- Adding your restaurant- Go to 'Restaurant' on the side pane and click on 'Add' (plus) button on the top-right corner of your dashboard screen. A popup will appear for you to fill-in your restaurant name and information. Under information you may mention the location of the restaurant or contact details. After entering the details click on 'Add'. Your restaurant is added.
- Adding your menu- Click on 'Restaurant' (side pane), select your restaurant's name 'House of Burgers' displayed on your dashboard screen, then click on 'Menus' (right now you'll see the count of menus as 0), then click on 'Add' (plus) button on the top-right corner of your dashboard screen. A popup will appear for you to fill in your menu name and information. Under information you may mention the type of menu (eg. lunch/dinner, weekend/weekday) or menu timimg (eg. lunch menu will be offered from 12pm to 3pm). After entering the details click on 'Add'. Your menu is added.
- Adding menu categories, items & images- Click on 'Restaurant' (side pane), select your restaurant's name 'House of Burgers', click 'Menus', select your menu 'Lunch Menu' (in this case), click on 'Add' (plus) button on the top-right corner of your dashboard screen, and select 'Create New'. A popup will appear for you to fill in your QR menu item name and information. Under information you may mention the dish ingredients, calories, or description. Set the price for the dish. You can update prices in real-time and the changes will reflect in your QR menu instantly. As this is the first item in your menu, write the category as 'BURGERS' under the 'Category' option. This will automatically create a new category named 'BURGERS' for you. In future you can just select the 'Category' from the dropdown menu while adding items. Click on 'Add Image' and select an image from your computer to add. Please tick "Fill Image" option for better a good looking QR menu. After entering the details click on 'Add'. Your menu category, item, and image are added.
Similarly, add all your menu categories, dishes, and images to make your contactless QR menu.
Step 3: Get the QR code for your contactless QR menu
- Click on 'Restaurant' (side pane), select your restaurant's name 'House of Burgers', click 'Menus', select your menu 'Lunch Menu', and click on the black and white QR code icon right next to the 'Add' button on the top-right corner of the dashboard screen.
- After clicking on the QR icon, you'll reach this page where you can download the menu QR code, email the QR code to yourself, view how the contactless QR menu looks like, and print the QR menu code.
